Europe has opened in the green and is looking positive. Asia closed mixed while our market continues to trade within a range. Metals, capital goods and IT sectors are looking weak at this point. Sensex is trading at 17947, down 10 points from its previous close, and Nifty is at 5392, down 4 points. CNX Midcap index is up 0.1% and BSE Smallcap index is up 0.02%. The market breadth is marginally negative with advances at 608 against declines of 639 on the NSE.
